I was watching videos of people constructing and decorating protest shields in Portland, and started thinking about how I would decorate such a shield if I had one. The classic shield design incorporates a cross, so there's a cross, specifically a Philly Pride Flag Cross I created in Photoshop Elements using rectangles with colors lifted from a picture of the flag. The long live and prosper hand is my own, in black and white with the shadows adjusted to a dark navy. I wanted a heart more real than the standard valentine heart so this one is lifted from an old medical text I found online and recolored. The anarchy symbol and power fists appear many places on the web and I took them as is but recolored the fist with the same dark navy as the other hand. This design works well as the front and back of a hoodie or shirt for protests, where most people will find it confusing and/or offensive. The original is 1854x3000.
